Live Stream Test - OBS vs Ecamm Live

The Thunderdome Live stream is ready to go. We've tested, failed, then succeeded in our attempts to get Mike Taylor on a live video feed from Honolulu, Hawaii.

Not without a few hiccups, of course (we are the Durham Bulls), I would say our last attempt was a success. The videos of our failure and success are live on YouTube for you to enjoy.

For the tech nerds, we first tried to use OBS and Zoom. OBS seemed to be a good solution at first, plus it's free and open-source, but the amount of time it takes to get OBS working with all the needed additional plug-ins is a nightmare for the less tech-savvy and also not that fun for the tech-inclined.

I, however, appreciate out-of-the-box solutions. It is one of the reasons why I use a Rodecaster Pro for my audio interface needs and a Mac computer instead of Windows. Ecamm Live is that out-of-the-box solution I was looking for and is currently the software we use to produce the Thunderdome Live stream.
